Tunnnnels is a short horror film about a woman returning to the location where her sister went missing when they were kids.
It is a Liminal House independent production written and directed by Patrick Zimmerman.
"In 2019, I had a panic attack specifically brought on around filmmaking - or more accurately around NOT filmmaking. I had recently been laid off and feeling aimless, and it just hit me like a punch in the chest that over the years I had let myself drift away from my dream of making films. Because of that, I had stopped the practice of processing things in my life through art. I was emotionally walled up and it was impacting my relationships. So I started making plans around reconnecting with that part of myself. I started Liminal House, an animation and visual effects studio, with my partner Nidhi and four years later we shot this film. Making tunnnnels feels like it set things on the right track again."

The film showcases many visual effects and in part was made to exist as a portfolio piece for the VFX that we love to create at Liminal House.
